The Nike Air Max 1 "Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0" is a modern reinterpretation of the rare 2008 edition, originally part of Nike's "Greatest Hits" pack. This 2023 release retains the original's signature style but adds new materials and color accents for a fresh look.
The upper combines Vast Grey mesh with Pearl White leather overlays on the midfoot, heel and vamp. The mudguard and Swoosh come in black and white hairy suede, creating a textural safari look. Cedar Red accents adorn the mini Swoosh on the mudguard, lining, tongue branding and the embroidered "KEEP RIP'N" and "STOP SLIP'N" texts on the heels. A white foam midsole with visible Air Max unit offers excellent cushioning, while the black and cedar outsole provides traction and durability.
